"Empty yourself of everything. Let the mind rest in the infinite."
— Laozi, Tao Te Ching
Today, we take a breath. We pause. We soften.
Because in a world that rushes and roars, the most powerful thing we can do is stop... listen, feel.
There is a voice inside you that knows. Not the chatter of fear or the loops of old stories, but something deeper. Wiser. Quieter. That voice is intuition.
And intuition doesn’t shout. It whispers.
But in order to hear it, we must empty the noise.
As the Tao Te Ching reminds us: "Empty yourself of everything. Let the mind rest in the infinite."
This doesn’t mean losing yourself. It means returning to yourself. It means creating space. Because the mind, when quiet, becomes a vessel. And when that vessel is no longer overflowing with judgment, planning, doubt, and what-ifs... it becomes open. Receptive. Clear.
And what rushes in? Truth. Peace. Possibility.
When your mind is full of the stories you’ve been told or the fears you’ve picked up along the way, there’s no room for the guidance already within you.
Letting go of the noise is not about detachment. It’s about devotion to what matters most.
So what is intuition, really? Intuition is your inner GPS. It’s the gentle pull toward what’s aligned. It doesn’t demand. It nudges. It doesn’t shame. It soothes. It feels like relief. Like clarity. Like yes.
The ego, on the other hand, feels like pressure. It insists. It demands an outcome. It needs validation. It spins in circles.
True intuition is calm. Kind. Steady. And often surprising. It might not bring the bag of money to your doorstep—but it might tell you to take a walk at just the right time. To call someone. To rest. To try again.
It speaks in symbols, sensations, signs, and sudden knowing. And the more you make space for it, the more it speaks.
So today, we practice the art of space. We empty a little. Breathe a little deeper. And come home to that still place where wisdom lives.
Because in that stillness, something beautiful happens: You hear you. The real you.
Practice for the Week
Take three intentional pauses each day. Just 30 seconds. Close your eyes. Take a breath. Let your mind rest. Be Patient. Then ask: "Is there something I need to know right now?" And then—don’t think. Feel. Notice what arises in the silence. Be Patient.
