"Where your attention goes, energy flows."
— Tony Robbins
There’s a reason why we often feel “off” without knowing why. It’s not always the situation—it’s the misalignment of energy. Abraham Hicks teaches that we are pure, positive energy at our core, and when we feel negative emotion, it’s simply an indicator: we’ve turned away from the truth of who we are.
Let’s explore what it really means to manage your energy, why it matters more than you think, and how it impacts your ability to feel good and attract what you desire.
Why Energy Alignment Matters More Than You Think
You are not here to prove your worthiness—you are worthy. Just by being alive, by having desires, by existing in this moment, you are an extension of Source. Your desire causes the universe to expand. That alone makes you significant.
What throws us off is not the world, but how we focus our attention within it.
Everything you focus on—whether remembering, pondering, imagining, observing—is an offering of energy. And that energy either aligns with your true self, or it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, you feel resistance. That resistance is not punishment. It’s guidance.
Alignment means matching your present-moment perspective with the frequency of who you truly are—pure, loving, brilliant energy.
That’s the art of energy alignment: not fixing the world or becoming someone new, but adjusting your focus to match the part of you that has never wavered—your Inner Being, your Source, your true frequency.
And that frequency? It’s Love. Appreciation. Joy. Worthiness. Peace.
So the real practice becomes: Can I tune myself to that? Can I honor how I feel enough to care about my alignment more than I care about controlling the external world?
"The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire, not things we fear."
— Brian Tracy
Practice for the Week:
Throughout the day, pause and ask yourself:
“Is this thought aligning me with who I really am?”
If the answer is no, choose one that feels better. Energy balance isn’t a one-time event. It’s like tuning a musical instrument—it’s ongoing. Practice noticing your inner discord and gently adjusting the dial.
Affirmation
I am a clear, loving, powerful being—and I align with that truth right now.
Journal Prompt
• When do I feel most like myself—clear, centered, and whole?
• What thoughts, places, or people throw me out of alignment?
• How can I gently come back to balance without needing anything to change outside of me?
Whisper for the Week
Your energy isn’t something to fix—it’s something to remember, and gently tune.
Beautiful. I love today's journal prompt and will set aside some time to focus on this. I think all too often we may not stop to think about how out of alignment we are and to then consciously focus on how to come back to balance. Thank you for sharing.
